Middle QA Engineer

We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join our Agile product development team. You will work closely with Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and fellow QA Engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

The role combines both manual and automation testing.
Tech stack: TypeScript, Playwright, GraphQL, REST APIs, GitLab, Kafka, k6, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, and other technologies used across our microservice-based platform.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with solid experience in software testing and test automation.; Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and testing artifacts.; Good programming skills and practical experience with TypeScript/JavaScript or another object-oriented programming language.; Hands-on experience with Playwright or a similar automation framework.; Good understanding and practical experience with API testing, including REST APIs.; Familiarity with GraphQL testing.; Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.; Experience with Git and version control workflows.; Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.; Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.; Experience with Jira and test/defect management tools.; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify potential root causes.; Understanding of microservice architecture and end-to-end system interactions.; Experience with performance testing and tools such as k6, JMeter, or similar.; Upper-Intermediate English and confidence in participating in technical discussions.; Hands-on experience with AI tools and an AI-first mindset - actively uses AI in day-to-day QA/engineering workflows and demonstrates a genuine interest in exploring and adopting new AI-driven approaches to testing, automation, and problem-solving.; Would be a plus:; Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or cloud environments.; Experience with Kafka or other event-driven/messaging technologies.; Experience with Google Cloud.; Experience with Karate, Cucumber, BDD, or Gherkin.; Experience maintaining or contributing to an in-house automation framework.; Experience with application logs, monitoring, and observability tools.; Experience with advanced GraphQL testing.; Experience with Apache Thrift or similar service-to-service communication technologies.
