Model Booker (6 month FTC)

As one of the Model Bookers you will be at the forefront of the Model Team working closely with the Seniors, Team Leaders, Leads and Management at ASOS Studios. With an ASOS casting eye you'll be constantly searching for the next generation of ASOS faces, reacting to new briefs and both building and nurturing agency relationships. You will work with the team to supply a continuous stream of exciting talent to be one step ahead of the competition and deliver the best e-commerce assets in the industry for our 20 something customer. Reporting directly into the Senior Model Booker, you will contribute to the day-to-day running of the Model team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, commercially successful shoots across ASOS.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the Model team to source, cast and book talent across ASOS shoots, including ecomm, marketing, location, social, testing and creative projects; Develop a strong understanding of ASOS's model families and evolving aesthetic across womenswear and menswear; Contribute to the evolving ASOS talent brief, ensuring casting reflects the diverse customer; Take ownership of the models you book, working closely with Studio teams to maximise their potential and maintain consistent quality; Build and maintain strong relationships with UK and international model agencies; Secure key talent as regular ASOS models, maintaining availability across multiple platforms and shoot requirements; Develop a strong understanding of Model team budgets, rates and cost structures, building confidence in agency negotiation; Use model analysis, performance data and creative judgement to make informed casting decisions; Work closely with the wider Studio team to deliver against budget, cost per product, creative quality and volume KPIs; Maintain awareness of the wider market, competitors and emerging talent trends; Embrace the adoption of AI and new technology within Model Booking and Studio workflows; Support the rollout and testing of new departmental technology, software and tools; Support Seniors and Leads with the training and development of new team members; Build strong, collaborative relationships across the wider Studio and contribute to team and departmental meetings; Deliver projects that support the wider Model and Studio strategy, taking ownership of ad hoc priorities; Lead by example, demonstrating ASOS behaviours and encouraging a team culture that is authentic, brave, creative and open to change; Championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies

Requirements

Previous model booking experience with existing agency relationships; A good understanding of shoot production in a commercial environment; A passion for models and knowledge of models; A methodical, accurate and extremely organised approach with a keen eye for detail; Excellent communication, problem solving and strong interpersonal skills; The ability to remain calm under pressure and think on their feet; Assertive and forward thinking; A 'can do' attitude and high level of efficiency; An 'unflappable' nature who is able to thrive in a fast paced environment; Outstanding negotiation skills and ability to work confidently with contracts, usages and block bookings; Lots of energy and enthusiasm, and a real team player; Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, In Design and in the general day to day running of a PC and/or MAC
