Our Technology Transformation Venture Studio has a vision to enable our Tax & Business Advisory practice to become the undisputed digital Tax & Business Advisory leader in New Zealand.

As a Senior Consultant you will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using .NET technologies. Your typical day will include:

Responsibilities

Utilising Azure cloud services for application deployment, management, and scalability.; Engaging in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.; Creating documentation for developed code.; Troubleshooting and resolving errors/issues.; Sharing experience and knowledge with team members.; Analysing and translating business requirements.; Applying coding best practices and guidelines.; Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A degree in a technical field.; 3+ years of experience in .NET development with a strong focus on C#.; Technical knowledge on: ASP.NET Core, Angular 16+, Web API, object-oriented programming concepts and testing; Hands-on experience with fundamental Azure concepts; Knowledge on advanced design concepts; Knowledge on Infrastructure as a code (Bicep or Terraform); Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerization and orchestration of microservices is a plus.; Passion for the whole software development and improvement process.; A result driven mindset, and be able to work against deadlines.; Experience of working in a dynamic project environment.; The ability to work independently as well as in team.; Willingness to learn and apply new technologies and best practices.; Ideally an interest in tax or business advisory service offerings (but not essential); Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
