Helping Hands Mitchelton is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Coordinator to join our growing Helping Hands service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll shape culture, drive quality, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.

This is a permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week) working across split shifts, Monday to Friday, including 8 hours of dedicated non ‑ contact administrative time to support your success.

Service hours include

- Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
- Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

Mitchelton Helping Hands is a growing service supporting around 60 children each morning and 105 each afternoon, with exciting potential for further growth. About your new role

Requirements

Design and lead a vibrant, child‑centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.; Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, with time allocated to do this well.; Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver.; Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.; Be supported by experienced Regional Managers and a dedicated Support Office so you’re never doing it alone.; Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA; National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko); A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.; Strong communication skills—you’ll be leading by example!; A team player who inspires others and encourages growth.; You have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.; Australian work rights.
