Packaging Designer

Cella is seeking a talent-driven Packaging Production Designer to manage the packaging pipeline from initial conceptual sketches to production-ready artwork. In this role, you will champion luxury packaging solutions while exploring cutting-edge AI tools to elevate creative concepts.

Responsibilities

Report directly to the Director of Packaging to concept, design, and develop primary and secondary packaging solutions; Create production-ready artwork following strict brand packaging charters; Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product Development, and external production vendors to ensure design feasibility and luxury quality compliance; Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously while organizing and maintaining digital asset libraries, file templates, and naming conventions; Conduct ongoing research on luxury market trends and competitive analysis to fuel innovative design solutions

Requirements

Degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent professional experience) with proven, successful experience as a packaging designer; Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator); Proficiency in Figma; Expert knowledge of Mac/System software; Familiarity with exploring and utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) design tools; Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, web development, and project management tools; Proven track record of working accurately within established brand guidelines in a fast-paced setting

Nice to have

Beauty and/or luxury product experience; Packaging design backgrounds in toys, food, or beverage
