Packaging Operations Operator 1

Operator 1, Packaging Operations responsible for the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products in Woburn, MA. This role ensures finished goods meet customer, clinical, and quality requirements on 1st Shift.

Responsibilities

Perform finished product packaging to satisfy customer, internal, clinical, and other demand; Ensure finished product is packaged per procedures and quality specifications; Inspect in-process packaging and components for consistent quality; remove defective products/materials; Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts; Perform simple mathematical calculations to assist with batch record completion; Assist with inventory counting activities as required; Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions/observations; Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and processing equipment; Follow PPE and product contamination control (gowning) requirements; Handle hazardous waste appropriately, as needed (e.g., 200-proof ethanol)

Requirements

0 to 5 years of relevant experience; Minimum 6 months of industry work experience required; High School Diploma or GED required; Background check must be fully cleared before starting (no exceptions); Must be flexible for overtime, static or rotating shifts as required; Ability to follow procedures and quality specifications; Ability to read and understand documentation; Strong attention to detail; Good documentation practices; Basic mathematical calculation skills; Familiarity with computers and general business software; Ability to work well in a team environment
