Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 1

As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you'll be a huge part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love. You'll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and ensure their success, and also support the management team in daily operations and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return; Step in and provide leadership support when the Manager is unavailable; Cover the sales floor; Open and close the store, as needed; Work the register, process sales transactions, and drive add-on sales (BOPIS and curbside pickup); Close out the register and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager; Understand store sales plan, comp sales goals, and key KPIs (UPT and ADT); Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix; Communicate fashion trend information to management and HQ partners; Work with Store Management to prevent theft; Maintain the stock room and keep the store tidy; Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team; Perform other activities as assigned by the Store Leader

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail store experience; Passion for philanthropy and pop culture; Communication, time management, professionalism, and operations skills; Drive to develop team members; Must be at least 18 years of age; High school diploma or GED equivalent; Able to navigate the store, merchandise product using approved store equipment, and pack and unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
