Part Time Catering Assistant - 15h/week

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part Time Catering Assistant to join our team in Brentwood, Essex United Kingdom. This position is for 15h/week - 3h a day during term time only (11:30am - 14:30pm). You are also expected to work 1 Saturday per term.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards; Serve food and beverages to pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner; Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service delivery; Set up and break down catering areas before and after service; Handle customer inquiries and requests promptly and courteously; Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed; Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude; Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques; Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; Strong teamwork and communication skills; Flexibility to work weekends during term time; Time management skills and ability to multitask
