Parts and Accessories Associate (part-time)

MotoSport is hiring a part-time Parts and Accessories Associate / Sr. Parts Associate. This is a customer-facing position responsible for delivering a friendly, efficient experience to walk-in and phone customers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the parts department. The position reports to the Parts Manager. Schedule: part-time, 3 days per week, with Friday (8:45am–6pm) and Saturday (8:45am–4pm) required and the third day flexible.

Responsibilities

Achieving monthly and annual goals set by Management; Greeting and handling over-the-counter customers in a friendly manner; Giving first priority to over-the-counter customers, with telephone customers second; Suggesting other items to customers; Handling requests for parts from the service department; Checking in and receiving parts and accessories shipments; Matching and stapling purchase orders and bills of lading and forwarding them to the Parts Manager; Stocking received items; Notifying customers of special order receipt by phone, with postcard and Parts Manager follow-up if not picked up within 5 business days; Boxing and shipping special orders to customers; Following dealership policies, general housekeeping, and company dress code; Performing other duties deemed necessary for the department and dealership; Maintaining a positive working relationship with all employees

Requirements

Customer-first mindset; High School Diploma or equivalent; Minimum of six months service experience in any industry (customer service preferred); In-depth knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Exchange etc.), Outlook (email and calendar) and Google suite (Drive, Sheets, Documents, etc.); Basic mechanical knowledge of at least one of the rider segments sold (Dirt, Street, ATV, Utility ATV, UTV, Cruiser); Basic knowledge of powersports soft goods & gear; Strong communication skills (verbal and written); Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workload; Proactive mindset and creative problem solving skills; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; Comfort working on your feet in an occasionally loud environment
