Parts Specialist-1

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent phone customer service by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, and process credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receiving, stocking, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing returns, stock adjustments, and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services for customers; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual
