Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in merchandise selection; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent customer service to phone callers by looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending items, and offering Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, process credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with image maker and planogram updates, freight receiving, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks including preparing merchandise returns, stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services for customers where allowed; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
