Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in their selection of merchandise; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to phone customers by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, and process credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns for credit; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates including freight receiving, stocking, fronting, facing, and cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing merchandise returns, assisting with stock adjustments, and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training and company requirements are met; Perform in-store services for customers where allowed; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time; Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
