Role Overview

As a Patient Registration Rep, you are the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You'll manage patient registration, insurance verification, and cash collections, while advocating for patient needs. Your work directly supports clinical and non-clinical teams, contributing to a smooth and compassionate healthcare journey for every patient.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive first impression.; Verify insurance eligibility and collect payments accurately.; Update patient registration and insurance information in our systems.; Respond to inquiries from callers and customers with professionalism.; Advocate for patients to ensure their needs are met promptly.; Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.; Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.; Ability to provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and in writing.

Nice to have

One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance verification in a healthcare setting.; EPIC training or experience.
