Payroll Specialist

Within the People team, you will report to and work closely with Amélie - our Senior Payroll Manager - to ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations across 700 employees over 13 countries (France, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, Dubai & Japan). As a Payroll Specialist, you will prepare and coordinate payroll processes, ensuring smooth execution under the supervision and validation of the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities

Payroll data preparation: Gather, verify, and consolidate payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, bonuses, salary adjustments, etc.); Collaboration with payroll providers: Ensure timely submission of payroll data and assist in processing payroll across multiple countries; Preliminary payroll checks: Conduct initial reviews of payroll calculations before submission to the Payroll Manager for final validation; Compliance & accuracy: Ensure payroll processes align with local labor laws and company policies, escalating complex cases to the Payroll Manager; Employee support: Act as a first point of contact for payroll-related questions, providing clear explanations to employees; Process improvement: Support initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and contribute to automation projects

Requirements

Degree in Human Resources and Payroll; Significant experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-country environment; Knowledge of payroll regulations in at least one of the covered countries; Familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with different payroll systems; Fluent in English, another language is a plus (French, German, or others); Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive; Comfortable working independently while ensuring alignment with the Payroll Manager for final validation; Passion for CARE and desire to work at the heart of a People function; Desire to evolve and develop expertise in an international, multicultural environment within a company culture focused on the well-being of employees; Not afraid to shake the existing for better
