Responsibilities

Verify and fill orders for medications and monitor patient medication therapies; Provide drug information and identify potential medication safety hazards; Document all interactions for medical review and supervise support personnel; Complete daily reports on medication utilization and participate in quality assurance procedures; Engage in pharmacy-related tasks such as clinical rounds and remote order verification; Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in cost-saving programs

Requirements

Graduate of a school of pharmacy; Pharmacist license in the state of California; Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; Strong knowledge of medication therapy management; Ability to effectively supervise and direct support staff; Proficiency in conducting medication utilization reports; Excellent communication and documentation skills; Ability to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Nice to have

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred; Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred
