Responsibilities

Process prescription exceptions, which includes resolving claim rejects and conducting outreach to members and physicians; Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system; Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member concerns; Escalate any questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance on processing; Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls, providing excellent service and support; Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and overall operations.

Requirements

Detail-oriented; Reliable; High School diploma or equivalent; 2-4 years of experience in a similar role; Current registration and certification as required by the state of operation; Must be licensed or hold a trainee license; Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation.
