International SOS Government Medical Services
Mount Vernon, Сполучені Штати
Дата публікації: 30.10.2026
Bring your clinical judgment to work that supports the health and safety of people with developmental disabilities—and helps guide the medical practices behind their care.
At International SOS Government Medical Services, you'll support healthcare programs that improve patient care and operational readiness across the U.S. and internationally. Founded in 1984, International SOS operates in more than 90 countries, delivering healthcare, medical assistance, emergency response, and workforce support services worldwide.
In this role, you’ll provide primary care and medical oversight for residents at developmental centers across Ohio. You’ll conduct physicals, diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests and referrals, monitor responses to treatment and medication, and maintain medical documentation.
You’ll collaborate with certified nurse practitioners and interdisciplinary team members—including psychology, psychiatry, case management, nursing, direct care staff, and residents’ families or guardians—to address health and safety concerns and recommend medical interventions.
You’ll also help establish medical policies and procedures consistent with Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) standards. Facility committee work includes admissions and discharges, infection control, medication reviews, unusual incidents, emergency preparedness, and human rights.
Location: Ohio. Statewide availability is required, with sites in Cambridge, Columbus, Gallipolis, Mount Vernon, Toledo, Batavia, Tiffin, and Highland Hills.
Schedule: PRN/on-call, Monday–Friday, generally between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Hours may be flexible within that window.
Travel: Travel time is paid from when you leave home to travel to an assigned facility. Mileage to facilities is not reimbursed. If an overnight stay is needed, a hotel will be booked and paid for on your behalf, and confirmation details will be provided.
