PMO Officer

NEC Software Solutions support their customers to better engage with the public in the delivery of effective and responsive public safety services. A fully integrated portfolio of software solutions and services are centered around – Control Room Solutions, Operational Policing, Evidence and Insights, Professional & Managed Services. The PMO Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the PMO Lead within the public safety business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are aligned to the plan including resource forecasting and tracking billing milestones. The PMO Officer will collaborate with various stakeholders, monitor project performance, and implement best practices in project management as lead by the PMO Lead.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of public safety projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with regulations; Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and performance metrics to provide insights into project health and progress; Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and government entities, to gather requirements and ensure project alignment; Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery; Promote and implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the PMO; Provide training and support to project managers and teams on project management processes and tools; Assist in budget tracking and resource allocation to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
