Press Setter

Are you a hands-on professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision engineering? Our client is looking for a Press Setter to join a dynamic team and play a vital role in ensuring our production lines run smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Safely set individual tooling on presses to exact specifications; Complete all PM sheets and safety checks to ensure legal compliance; Exchange press tooling as per instructions; Ensure work areas are clear of excess tooling and materials; Verify all safety features (guarding, e-stops) are operational during setup; Load lines and confirm first-off quality before handover; Maintain product quality throughout production runs; Support the department as needed, including packing and operating; Uphold BRC hygiene standards; Act as a Material Handler to keep presses supplied and running; Learn and operate the universal grinding machine

Requirements

Manual press experience; Basic computer literacy; Organised and tidy work habits; A proactive communicator with a positive attitude; Understanding of legal requirements for press setting

Experience in press setting; Knowledge of press tooling or materials
