Principal Product Manager, AI Products

Komodo Health's AI Platform and Services organization builds the platform every AI product at Komodo runs on, including agent infrastructure, evals, data context, and customer-facing surfaces. The Principal Product Manager will define the next generation of Komodo's product suite, build the first versions of new products as a hands-on individual contributor embedded in small engineering pods, and set the product pattern for surface pods. Flagship product Navigator runs investigations that previously took a person weeks.

Responsibilities

Own the thesis for what customers touch, studying how they work and revising the argument as models improve; build first versions with AI tools and platform primitives, bringing engineering in to scale what shows value and dropping what does not; work inside customer environments when the problem calls for it, scope in real time during contract negotiations, and treat deployment as part of the product; propose and defend the shape of the growing portfolio, deciding what existing solutions become; package for the field by partnering with sales and marketing, running market analysis, and making sure every new product can be positioned, enabled, and sold; set the pattern through architecture and build habits that the surface pods follow

Requirements

Builds the first version: shows a product they built themselves, not one they only managed; AI native at product depth, able to reason at a low level about context and grounding, evals and quality gates, agent behavior, and cost; comfortable inside customer environments and contracting cycles, with judgment to commit responsibly in real time; 10+ years in product, including at least one product they conceived and shipped that earns real revenue today; excellent written communication

Nice to have

Healthcare or regulated data experience (claims, EHR, patient journeys, provider analytics), or a track record of getting fluent fast in a comparably complex data domain such as supply chain, energy, or financial data; time at a company through a platform transition; experience retiring a product without losing its customers; experience interacting with, managing, or building with AI agentic workflows
