PRN Licensed Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

Assist dentists in all aspects of patient care, including procedures and exams.; Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.; Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.; Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.; Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.; Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.; Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.; Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.; Active Minnesota Licensure, DAND Certification, and/or other state jurisprudence requirements to perform designated tasks.; Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.; Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred based on clinic location).; Valid driver’s license and ability to be added to the company car insurance roster highly preferred.
