Process Operator

Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line; May be expected to handle heavy machinery; A lot of monitoring and measuring of processes; There will be packaging, transfer from tank to tank; Daily samples and interaction between shipping, QC and maintenance departments; Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts when required; Must be able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays when required

Requirements

HS Diploma/GED; Computer knowledge; Be in good general health and must be medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection; Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. without mechanical assistance; Be physically able to perform job duties; Possess good degree of manual dexterity; Ability to perform duties with minimum of supervision; Ability to observe, record and analyze process information; Able to read and interpret instruments, gauges, etc.; Able to communicate and understand operating information

Nice to have

2-4 years of manufacturing experience or chemical experience, construction, mechanical, farm/agricultural experience; Forklift experience
