ABOUT THE JOB

As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in crafting and developing new and captivating product designs for Lomography, with a focus on analogue photography. Your primary responsibility will be to conceptualize and create innovative designs that resonate with our global community of photography enthusiasts, artists, and creatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, marketers, and project managers, you will ensure that the products not only meet technical requirements but also align with market demands while reflecting our passion for analogue photography.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive research on the functionality, aesthetics, user interface, and configuration of new products.; Project briefing and presentation setup for new products in development.; Execute cosmetic design based on the configuration of the new product under development, including but not limited to Form, Color, Material and Finishing.; Virtual and physical model building for the development process and engineering execution.; Support pre-production sample testing and review.; Resolve issues throughout the entire development process.

Requirements

Requirements; Degree or above in Industrial/Product design or related disciplines.; Basic knowledge and experience on analog photography and photographic equipments.; High proficiency in engineering 3D software modeling and rendering, such as SolidWorks, Creo Parametric, Fusion 360, and KeyShot.; Experience on handcrafting prototypes & 3D printing.; Good communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.; Proactive, detail-minded, energetic & willing to explore.; Experience in mechanical and electronic product design, along with an understanding of manufacturing processes, will be an advantage.; Employment; Start date: Immediate; Location: Hong Kong; Type: On-site; 5-day work week; If you are looking for a young and dynamic organization and are interested in a position where you can develop your skills and take over new responsibilities, apply now to join the Lomography Team by sending your application including a cover letter, your resume and portfolio.
