Product Engineer, Blockchain (Remote - USA)

Tempo is a layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins and real-world payments, born from Stripe’s experience in global payments and Paradigm’s expertise in crypto tech. We're building Tempo with design partners who are global leaders in AI, e-commerce, and financial services. You’ll help put the Tempo blockchain in the hands of real users by building first-party products like Tempo Wallet and working directly with customers to integrate Tempo into their stablecoin flows. This role is a strong fit for a former founder, or someone who wants to start a company one day.

Responsibilities

Build internal and first-party applications on top of Tempo for both agents and humans; Partner with startups and enterprises to integrate Tempo into their payment systems; Develop a deep understanding of the Tempo blockchain and its product surface area; Navigate unfamiliar codebases and organizations quickly to get products shipped; Bring field learnings back to Tempo to improve the product, developer experience, and blockchain itself

Requirements

4+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including 1+ year(s) in crypto; Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and cross-functional stakeholders; Ability to travel within the US to work with partners when needed; Track record of shipping mission-critical systems where safety and reliability matter; Ability to balance speed, pragmatism, and technical quality
