Product Manager Controls

The Product Manager – Residential Power Generation Controls will lead the strategy and execution for next-generation residential control platforms with expanding integration into cloud-connected monitoring, interconnect coordination, and load management services. This role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle for embedded controls and their associated digital ecosystems—translating customer insights, regulatory requirements, and system-level needs into clear, actionable product and software specifications. We are seeking a technically strong product leader with proven experience defining requirements for connected control systems, particularly where physical hardware and cloud services intersect in residential-scale energy environments. Responsibilities

Create and manage product roadmaps for individual product areas; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features; Conduct basic market research and competitive analysis; Assist in tracking product performance and identifying areas for enhancement; Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on product updates

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or related field; 3+ years of professional experience including 1+ years of experience in product management or related fields; Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Skilled in fostering team collaboration and driving results; Focused on hands-on execution and operational management of a specific product area, laying the groundwork for broader product management responsibilities; Technically strong product leader with proven experience defining requirements for connected control systems, particularly where physical hardware and cloud services intersect in residential-scale energy environments
