Product Manager – GPC Asia Pacific - Ingleburn or Rowville

Drive category growth, product strategy and sourcing initiatives to deliver innovative ranges and profitable business outcomes. As a Product Manager with GPC Asia Pacific, you'll play a key role in developing and managing market-leading product ranges across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, you'll identify growth opportunities, optimise product performance, drive sourcing initiatives, and ensure our product offering remains competitive, innovative and aligned with market demand. You are a commercially minded Product Manager with strong analytical capability and experience managing product lifecycles, supplier relationships and category performance. Ideally, you will have experience within the automotive, industrial, engineering or another technical product environment and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to deliver profitable growth and outstanding customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage product ranges and lifecycle strategies; Support category plans and drive profitable growth; Source and introduce innovative new products and suppliers; Grow Own Brand product performance and sales; Analyse market, competitor and pricing trends; Recommend range optimisation and rationalisation initiatives; Forecast demand and sales performance for new products; Maintain product quality, specifications and packaging standards; Manage catalogue and product data accuracy; Deliver product training, technical information and sales support; Monitor market share and category performance metrics; Collaborate with internal stakeholders and supplier partners

Requirements

Proven Product Management experience; Strong commercial acumen and category management capability; Experience sourcing products and managing suppliers; Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills; Advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities; Experience managing product lifecycles and range performance; Ability to interpret market trends and competitor activity; Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills; Experience with sales forecasting and business planning; Program/project management capability; Quality assurance and product compliance knowledge; Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
