Product Technician

We're looking for a hands-on Product Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Kewdale, where you'll assemble industry-leading products that are used by customers around the world. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for assembling electronic products, wiring harnesses, and sub-assemblies while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Working from production drawings and work instructions, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative technology to our customers.

Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components, products, and sub-assemblies to specification; Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, and assembly instructions; Use hand and power tools to crimp, solder, rivet, bolt, screw, and secure components; Assemble and install electronic components, wiring, connectors, and harnesses; Manufacture wiring looms and cable harnesses, including terminating connectors; Complete assembly processes including bonding, encapsulating, curing, cleaning, and finishing; Install completed assemblies into enclosures and fit associated hardware; Perform quality checks and adjustments to meet electrical and dimensional requirements; Safely perform manual handling tasks and maintain a clean, organised workspace; Support the Production team with other duties as required

Requirements

Experience in electronic, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing assembly; Confidence using hand and power tools; Ability to read assembly drawings or work instructions; Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality; Positive attitude and willingness to learn; Strong focus on workplace safety; Physical capability to safely perform manual handling and lifting throughout the day

Soldering and wiring experience (highly regarded)
