Production Line Lead

Responsibilities

Identifying opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the transformation process and lead the optimization of these processes; Creating, implementing, auditing and coaching on performance improvement programs which impact the daily results and effectiveness of all employees; Leading and supporting the completion of detailed continuous improvement plans; Leading technical improvement projects; Reviewing and making improvements by using performance data such as effectiveness, line stops, quality defects, to maintain a safe environment and eliminate contamination sources; Leading regular performance improvement meetings; Acting as a facilitator in regard to problem solving skills; Supporting and leading development activities for autonomous maintenance and other related continuous improvement programs; Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment; Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are met or exceeded

Requirements

3 – 5 years Manufacturing experience; 3 – 5 years Management / Supervisory experience; Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Product Operations, or equivalent field of study; Experience with SAP or other ERP system; Technical problem-solving experience; Team Player / Collaboration / Risk taking / Organization; Communication written / Oral; Ability to lead teams and achieve results through resources

Nice to have

Food industry experience in a union environment preferred
