Production Operator III

Responsible for transporting, storing, and organizing materials, products, and equipment to ensure smooth production and logistics, typically utilizing machinery like forklifts. Key duties include loading/unloading shipments, tracking inventory in systems, preparing items for shipping, and maintaining safety standards, with a physical requirement to lift heavy items.

Transporting, storing, and organizing materials, products, and equipment to ensure smooth production and logistics; Loading/unloading shipments; Tracking inventory in systems; Preparing items for shipping; Maintaining safety standards; Lifting heavy items; Loading, unloading, and moving materials between loading docks, storage areas, and production lines; Physically receiving materials following standard operating procedures; Weighing materials before and after use; Performing inventory counts, scanning barcodes, and updating inventory records in ERP; Safely operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; Completing documentation and recording changes to raw material and compound weights and inventory; Keeping work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations; Serving as back-up and running Operator I and Operator II machinery (Take Up, Spoolers, Braiders, Calbers, Twisters) proficiently; Removing finished cable from take-ups and cross-overs; Maintaining and improving 5S standards; Contributing to process improvement; Working as a team with leads, supervisors, managers, and employees; Performing other projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

Physical requirement to lift heavy items; Versatility to run most Operator I and Operator II machinery (Take Up, Spoolers, Braiders, Calbers, Twisters) proficiently
