Production Supervisor

Clover Consulting has a direct client in Grand Rapids, MI in need of a Production Supervisor with a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, people management, and continuous improvement. If you bring a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead teams through change, we’d love to connect.

Responsibilities

Manage a production division from raw materials to finished product, ensuring schedules are met; Lead and develop a team of 20–30 hourly employees, focusing on performance, training, and development; Participate in a leadership rotational program; Collaborate with Operations Managers to control costs and meet corporate goals; Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor regulations; Drive quality improvements and customer satisfaction; Provide coverage for Operations Managers and lead special projects as needed; Maintain flexibility to move between manufacturing areas based on business needs

Requirements

3-5+ years of proven leadership and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment; Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards

Nice to have

Strong initiative and ability to work under pressure; Bachelor’s degree or military equivalent experience; Familiarity with engineering methods and capacity analysis; Lean manufacturing; Ability to adapt quickly and lead through change; Experience leading cross-functional projects
