Responsibilities

Develop 2D and 3D models for production ready status, Using Autodesk products; Researches and analyzes design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of product.; Assist in the identification of root cause problems. Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications .Develops and implements corrective action plans.; Assist in providing calculations and plans for the certification of Product.; Monitors fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.; Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.; Provides technical advice/input relevant to MEP systems; Develops, reviews and execute designs for mechanical/electromechanical, HVAC electrical and plumbing systems and oversees the preparation of related engineering drawings. ; Prepares MEP Design Reports and pursue approvals from relevant regulatory authorities. ; Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by undertaking and applying the relevant principles

Requirements

B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited academic institution ; MSc in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution is an added advantage; Professional registration as an Engineer is compulsory (COREN, NSE); Strong CAD skills using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor or Solid works.; Strong knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).; Knowledge of algebraic, geometric and trigonometric functions for various calculations.; Familiar with USCG and ABYC standards a plus; In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing techniques; In-depth knowledge of Building Codes; Excellent communication skills – oral and written as well as presentation skills; Minimum of (8) years’ post BSc qualification hands-on experience with a minimum of (5) years’ managing small and large building construction (residential and commercial) projects with primary responsibility for mechanical/electrical and plumbing systems.
