Project Manager--Network and Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee projects related to fiber optic and digital cabling, particularly within the context of school districts, K-12 education, and SLED (State, Local, and Education) environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, WLAN/LAN infrastructure, and hands-on experience with network hardware. Additionally, proficiency in overseeing installations of UPS systems and cameras is crucial.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee projects related to fiber optic and digital cabling installations; Coordinate with school districts, K-12 education institutions, and SLED entities to ensure project alignment with organizational goals and requirements; Demonstrate expertise in network management, including WLAN/LAN infrastructure, Aruba switches, APs, controllers, and Cisco switches; Supervise the installation of UPS systems and cameras, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution; Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and management; Address any challenges or obstacles that may arise during project implementation; Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in project management, with a focus on fiber optic or digital cabling projects; Familiarity with school districts, K-12 education, and SLED environments; Proficiency in network management, WLAN/LAN infrastructure, Aruba switches, APs, controllers, and Cisco switches; Hands-on experience in overseeing UPS and camera installations; Strong organizational and communication skills; Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with some days onsite and a mandatory in-person meeting every Friday.
