Project Manager

At BioAgilytix, a team of experienced scientists and professionals delivers tailored bioanalytical services supporting new medicine breakthroughs. This role is within the bioanalytical technology teams, providing project support through all phases of client services. The position acts as the connection between internal functions and the actions required for an efficient, quality-driven project process, spanning study administration, client communications, revenue recognition, and on-time delivery of project milestones. The best candidates have an operationally efficient mindset, project management skills, natural people skills, and are self-motivated, courteous, and respectful while balancing firm project boundaries. This is an onsite, full-time position in the San Diego, CA office. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define project timelines, ensure projects remain on schedule, and are appropriately resourced; Maintain a strong working relationship and open communications with all departments, including Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Sample Management; Maintain accurate study records including administrative and sample reconciliation activities; Coordinate with Central Lab and/or Data Analytic group for Data Transfer Agreement setup and file transfer; Track project samples received, tested, and reported; Support revenue recognition activities, database systems, and resource planning; Support Validation and Sample Analysis Projects; Ensure great customer experience; Support Operational Excellence Metrics

Requirements

Excellent oral and written communication skills; High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Acute attention to detail; Ability to coordinate multiple projects/tasks while still delivering high quality results under time constraints; Strong organizational and project administration skills; Bachelor's degree in life science, business administration, or related field with not less than two (2) years' experience in a biotechnology project management or related field, or Master's degree in life science, business administration, or related field; Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for up to 8 hours per day; Regular and consistent attendance

Nice to have

Experience working in a GxP environment; Familiarity with NetSuite; Knowledge base in science with the relevant regulations for the industry; Knowledge base and exposure to project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
