Psychotherapist/Production-Cabarrus County Schools-Hybrid

Seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join the Cabarrus County School Based Therapy Team to provide in-person and virtual therapy services directly in schools, supporting students in grades K-12 and their families. Full-time position, benefits eligible, 40 hours per week, working the school schedule with 3 days in person and 2 days virtual.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and family therapy sessions within the school setting; Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning; Collaborate closely with school staff, administrators, and community partners to ensure quality care; Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation; Develop, implement and evaluate patient care according to identified needs; Manage clients in crisis utilizing appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques; Write treatment and discharge plans according to patient diagnosis, age and clinical presentation; Collaborate with appropriate guardians and community agencies to ensure effective service delivery; Complete accurate and timely billing information; Design, plan, implement effective patient education; Maintain open lines of communication with the healthcare team for patient outcomes

Requirements

Master's degree in a relevant human services field such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited school of graduate education; Full licensure in applicable state; 2 years clinical experience; CPI and CPR training (required for psychotherapist working in inpatient psychiatric setting)
