PT Porter (Mon-Fri, 5PM-9PM)

The ParkX Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the common areas at assigned sites. Duties include general upkeep such as pressure washing, window cleaning, trash removal, and routine cleaning tasks. Porter also support event setup and cleanup when necessary and respond to cleanliness concerns as they arise. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work professionally and courteously with property staff, tenants, and visitors.

Responsibilities

Ensure all common areas including sidewalks, lobbies, restrooms, and public spaces are kept clean and presentable; Complete daily cleaning and janitorial tasks as assigned; Pressure wash areas as assigned by management; Report to assigned location in approved ParkX Porter uniform before start of work shift; Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and cleaning standards; Exhibit professional and courteous demeanor with all site visitors; Assist management teams with special cleaning or maintenance requests as needed; Maintain neat and orderly janitorial closet and storage areas; Complete end-of-shift documentation and ensure proper transfer of responsibilities; Help with setup and breakdown for events or public gatherings; Monitor cleaning supply inventory and ensure safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals; Notify management of any situation requiring attention; Follow cleaning schedules and checklists accurately; Document and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damages; Maintain safe, clean, and neat work environment; Attend team meetings impacting janitorial operations; Fill in for coworkers during absences; Address and resolve cleanliness concerns promptly; Maintain equipment through regular maintenance and preventative care; Report equipment damage to management; Be available for weekend and after-hours work, particularly during events or peak periods; Understand and promote corporate goals, core values, and departmental responsibilities; Understand and comply with ParkX policies on call outs, time off, and timeliness; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent; Valid driver's license without major violations; Flexibility to work after hours and weekends for events; Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build/maintain strong relationships; Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills; Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity; Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence; Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation; Must be customer-focused and results-oriented; Must want to continuously learn and develop; Exceptional oral communication, active listening, and organizational skills; Ability to establish strong working relationships with others in team setting; Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision; Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and/or reach; Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds; Continuous repetitive motions; Work under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold), under variable noise levels, outdoors/indoors, around fumes and/or hazards, around dust and/or mite hazards, around chemicals and bio-hazards
