Quantitative Analyst, Sports

Shape real-time betting markets as a Quantitative Analyst, turning complex data into high-precision probabilistic models. The Quantitative Analysis department designs, develops, and maintains sophisticated mathematical models to deliver accurate pricing across complex sports betting products. As a Quantitative Analyst, this position collaborates closely with Data Scientists, Traders, and Software Developers to refine probabilistic pricing frameworks. Responsibilities

Builds and maintains pricing algorithms used in sports betting models; Analyses data to quantify and refine pricing methodologies; Optimises model performance for both accuracy and computational efficiency; Develops and supports technical solutions owned by the department; Identifies and resolves bugs affecting model accuracy; Manages code versions using source control systems while ensuring thorough documentation; Collaborates with Trading teams to incorporate domain expertise into mathematical models; Shape real-time betting markets by turning complex data into high-precision probabilistic models; Collaborates closely with Data Scientists, Traders, and Software Developers to refine probabilistic pricing frameworks

Requirements

Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics; Proven passion for sports and online betting markets; Deep understanding of probability and statistics relevant to sports forecasting; Commercial programming background in languages such as C#, Go, R, Python, or SQL; Track record of analysing large-scale datasets within sports analytics; Practical application of machine learning techniques; Advanced capability in optimising mathematical models for accuracy and computational efficiency
