Quantity Surveying Apprentice - Manchester (September 2027 Start)

School leaver programme providing first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification. 5-year trainee programme working towards a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management and Quantity Surveying and General Practice Chartered Surveyor status with RICS. No degree required. Quantity Surveyors provide expert advice on construction costs, also known as Cost Consultants or Cost Managers, ensuring proposed projects are affordable and offer good value for money. Start date: 6th September 2027. Programme duration: 5 years. Salary: £26,300. Contract type: Permanent. Location: On-site, Greater Manchester, GBR.

Responsibilities

Get involved in real work from day one to help clients achieve their ambitions; research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation; learn to use various property systems/databases to collect information for determining the best solution for clients; build relationships across the business and with clients; work with your team to draft and deliver work such as service charge budgets, client presentations, and valuation reports; visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings; take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development

Requirements

GCSEs C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent); A-Levels 72 UCAS points (equivalent of 3 x D grades); curious mindset so you can learn and grow; passionate and eager to contribute thoughts and fresh ideas, and to challenge yourself; interest in the property industry and how it can shape its future; ability to connect with others easily and build strong relationships; permanent right to work in the UK with no time restrictions or limited working hours
