Responsibilities

Assist in tender pricing and cost estimations, sourcing of quotations, cost evaluation and preparing cost comparisons, especially for interior fit-out projects; Evaluate contract/sub-contract works and carry out other contracts administration with clients and vendors; Maintain positive supplier relations; Procure for projects via an online platform; Assist in all activities of the procurement and admin department; Manage procurement process via JLL's own cloud-based platform for all procurement; On-board and pre-qualify vendors to JLL standards; Prepare client invoices and process vendor invoices; Maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures; Prepare tender documents, including reviewing and understanding tender documents, specifications and drawings for taking off quantities; Compile Bill of Quantities, tender documents/amendments and submit tender bids; Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors; Confer with engineers, architects, designers, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates; Compare and negotiate prices with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors; Prepare and issue POs and verify supplier invoices for payment; Research and evaluate prospective suppliers; Thrive under pressure and deal effectively with tight deadlines and high expectations; Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

A degree or diploma in a relevant field, and/or around three to five years' experience in a similar QS/Cost Consultancy position; Good experience in the pre-construction as well as the construction phase of interior fit-out projects; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technologically savvy; Strong communication and negotiation skills; Good analytical and strategic thinking skills; Attention to detail; Great sense of urgency when solving problems, improving products or services, finding new markets, and implementing new strategies; A great communicator with superb organisational skills; A structured and organised approach with an eye for detail; Resilient, able to deal effectively with competing priorities and tight deadlines; Knowledge of how to negotiate to generate risk-assessed solutions and how to handle ambiguities
