Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team in Warrington, supporting a high-volume programme of reactive, planned and minor works across Network Rail assets. The role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced framework environment, covering station facilities and structures to repairs, minor works and asset renewals. Part of the CP7 Buildings Asset Management (BAM) framework within a long-term, secure contract environment.

Responsibilities

Manage costs across multiple projects, ensuring delivery within budget and to forecast; Prepare and manage valuations, CVRs, forecasts and final accounts; Support profit performance through effective cost control and reporting; Work across high-volume, low-value reactive and planned works within the CP7 BAM framework; Support delivery teams in achieving programme, cost and quality targets; Monitor project performance, including variations, early warnings and change control; Manage subcontractor procurement, performance and payments; Build strong relationships across the supply chain to drive efficiency and value; Collaborate closely with Operational teams, Commercial Managers and clients; Maintain strong working relationships with Network Rail and internal stakeholders

Requirements

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering, rail or construction; Knowledge of maintenance frameworks or infrastructure projects; Strong understanding of NEC or Network Rail forms of contract; A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (HNC/HND/Degree); Strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills; The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
