Recreations Supervisor

The Recreations Supervisor is the frontline of the Activities & Events team, executing the programs designed to offer enjoyable experiences for resort customers. They will inject a fun and upbeat attitude into all activities to ensure that each event follows the guidelines and achieves the established goals. Must be adaptable to make adjustments as needed depending on weather or other circumstances which may affect the program.

Responsibilities

Communicate with staff about special events, programs and other items of interest; Maintain high standards of safety, service, and program quality; Boost resort revenue through the creation of unique events that are innovative and cost effective; Execute programs designed to offer enjoyable experiences for resort customers; Inject a fun and upbeat attitude into all activities; Ensure each event follows guidelines and achieves established goals; Adapt to weather or other circumstances which may affect the program

Requirements

High School diploma; Experience in a guest service role; Outgoing, enthusiastic and personable; Customer centric mindset to work with groups representing all age groups and demographics; Fluent in English; Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers; Engaging and energetic personality; Ability to work on feet for an extended period; Ability to lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs; Availability to work varied shifts to include nights, weekends and holidays; Great attention to detail; Tremendous personality

Nice to have

Previous experience in activities & entertainment; Relevant certifications in recreation and/or fitness
