Regional Clinical Director - Service Areas

The Regional Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating clinical services within designated regions and within system subspecialty programs such as OCD, anxiety, depression, eating disorder, trauma, and mental health recovery, and others as determined by community need. This role involves providing clinical leadership, ensuring quality patient care, facilitating community connections, and supporting the organization's strategic initiatives. Additionally, the Regional Clinical Director will be involved in leadership development by actively guiding and supporting individuals or teams in improving their leadership skills. This position works closely with clinical leaders, direct-care staff, operations leaders, and community providers to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care and have access to the necessary resources for a successful recovery.

Responsibilities

Overseeing and coordinating clinical services within designated regions and system subspecialty programs; Providing clinical leadership and ensuring quality patient care; Facilitating community connections and supporting strategic initiatives; Guiding and supporting individuals or teams in improving leadership skills; Oversee clinical staff performance and ensure high-quality treatment services; Provide direction for clinical supervision and conduct quality reviews; Address deficiencies in patient care and participate in staff performance reviews; Ensure adequate clinical training and coordinate training activities; Develop training curriculum and facilitate training sessions; Create program materials and adopt standardized treatment protocols; Facilitate clinical continuum of care and participate in strategic planning; Participate in marketing and outreach activities and develop department marketing plans; Assist in recruitment process and conduct interviews; Participate in committees, meetings, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Master’s degree in social work, professional counseling, or family therapy from an accredited school with experience in health care and in a psychiatric setting; Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior; Program or product development experience.

Nice to have

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in a psychology related field or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) licensed in the state in which the clinic/programs are based; Administrative or supervisory experience in a psychiatric setting; Marketing, community relations, outreach, and media appearance experience.
