Regional Indirect Sourcing Manager

As Regional Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager at Lam, you will play a crucial role in developing go-to-market approaches and driving cost competitiveness while managing supplier relationships for indirect goods and services. You are responsible to develop and implement procurement strategies, benchmark suppliers, negotiate agreements, and resolve delivery, cost, and service challenges. This is a highly visible role shaping the procurement agenda for strategic capital projects, from greenfield builds to major site expansions and complex upgrades. You will partner closely with multiple functions stewarding decisions that influence project economics and lifecycle outcomes. The remit includes Malaysia as primary scope with the potential to support other regions depending on portfolio priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop procurement strategies and present them to the procurement team leader; Plan, organize, and control business/contracts/negotiations for the strategic acquisition of indirect goods and services; Drive supplier contract management, conduct supplier negotiations, and formulate comprehensive supplier management strategies; Facilitate supplier agreement negotiations, renegotiations, and contract addendums; Build a robust supply network; Represent indirect procurement management on cross-functional teams; Work cross-functionally with product, manufacturing, quality, procurement, finance, and product support teams; Define and monitor metrics in line with annual operating plan objectives; Evaluate cost and quality performance benchmarks and risks; Develop and apply a strategic procurement plan; Encourage and coordinate early supplier involvement; Strategic Sourcing; Supplier Management; Contract Negotiation; Spend Analysis; Stakeholder Collaboration; Continuous Improvement; Risk Management; Reporting

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related area with a focus on indirect categories; Strong negotiation and contract management skills; Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; Proficiency in eProcurement and eSourcing tools; Effective communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams; Fluent English is a must

Master's degree or MBA preferred; Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or PMP are highly desirable; Leadership; Innovation; Attention to Detail; Extensive experience in indirect procurement within a complex, multinational environment; Deep category knowledge of Indirect Procurement Categories; Strong proficiency across the end-to-end procurement process; Fluent negotiation skills and confidence in managing high-value, high-impact supplier relationships; Solid understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in a global setting; Strategic mindset paired with strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and decision-making skills; Additional languages are an asset
