Regional Veterinarian Medical Director - Los Angeles

We're seeking a Regional Medical Director to lead and support six general practice clinics in the Los Angeles area. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll continue practicing medicine while also shaping clinical standards, mentoring veterinarians, and elevating patient care across your region. You'll partner closely with your Regional Operations Manager to align medical and operational excellence, while serving as a trusted resource for your teams.

Responsibilities

Provide medical leadership and oversight across multiple locations; Mentor and develop associate veterinarians, especially early-career DVMs; Support clinical growth in areas like surgery, diagnostics, and case management; Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team culture; Help drive consistency in quality of care while respecting each hospital's individuality; Lead and support six general practice clinics in the Los Angeles area; Partner closely with your Regional Operations Manager to align medical and operational excellence

Requirements

Current Veterinary License holder for the State of California, or the ability to obtain one; 5+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian; Natural leader and mentor who is driven to teach others; Highly organized and able to manage time effectively; Willingness to travel across the region to support all clinics spanning from Palmdale, CA to Covina, CA
