Registered Nurse - Atrium Health Lake Norman Progressive Care PT Nights

This 13-bed PCU will be co-located with an 8-bed ICU, offering a collaborative and dynamic environment for patient care. This low-to-moderate acuity PCU will specialize in caring for patients with a range of medical conditions requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The team works closely with a variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians from multiple specialties, to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Nice to have

2 years of PCU experience preferred
