Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Aurora St. Luke's, a newly renovated ED and one of the largest EDs in the state, with 60 care spaces caring for over 200 patients daily. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. Schedule options include day, night, and weekend shifts at 0.6, 0.9 FTE, and full-time hours (36 hours per week).

Responsibilities

Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures; Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled communication; Leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
