Baptist MD Anderson is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Infusion Therapy team at our Clay campus in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN position.

Responsibilities

Performs venipuncture, IV catheter insertion, and PICC line care.; Calculates and administers IV medications.; Recognizes signs of distress or reaction to meds.; Identifies abnormal labs based on patients drug and co-morbidities.; Obtains vital signs.; Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement, organization, supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.; Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.; Educate of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.; Serve as patient advocate and responsible for assisting the Interventional Radiologists.; Provide optimum care utilizing the nursing process

Requirements

Associates of Science in Nursing Required; Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required; Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
