Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Behavioral Health Davidson Mtn. Laurel FT Nights

The Mountain Laurel unit at Behavioral Health Davidson is a 22-bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit serving individuals with mood disorders, psychosis, and dual diagnoses involving both psychiatric conditions and alcohol and/or substance use disorders. The unit is supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, psychiatric technicians, social workers, recreational and occupational therapists, spiritual care providers, and peer support specialists. Care on the unit is grounded in a patient-centered practice model and incorporates trauma-informed care principles throughout all patient interactions and treatment approaches.

Responsibilities

Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice to have

At least 1 year of Behavioral Health Experience; Baccalaureate degree
