The Emergency Department is a dynamic and welcoming space with 10 specialized ED rooms and a dedicated triage space. Hartford ED is equipped to care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Also offers resources like Tele-Stroke and Tele-Psych services. With 24/7 physician coverage and dedicated PA support during peak hours, our department is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We offer flexible scheduling in six-week blocks, fair vacation approvals, and free parking just steps from the unit. Aurora Medical Center Washington County is a 71-bed community-focused hospital located in Hartford, Wisconsin. Responsibilities

Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or within 6 months; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or within 6 months; Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) issued by the Emergency Nurses Association or within 12 months

Nice to have

RN ED experience is preferred; previous RN experience; new grad with a passion for the ED
