Registered Nurse (RN) Mother Baby

Join the team in our Labor and Delivery Unit at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital where we have 9 labor rooms, 2 OB Operating rooms and 1 recovery room. With an average of 75 deliveries per month our team of experienced labor nurses provide safe, quality care to our special patients. Part Time Days. Schedule: every third weekend and every third holiday. Hours per week: 24.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice to have

BSN strongly preferred; Previous Labor & Delivery experience desired
