Rehabilitation Consultant (Physiotherapist)

Support people to rebuild confidence, independence and hope. Every day, people recovering from injury or illness need support and guidance to take important steps forward. As a Rehabilitation Consultant with Konekt, you’ll walk alongside clients as they navigate recovery, return to work, and help them to reconnect with what matters most.

Responsibilities

Use your specialist knowledge and skills to help people return to meaningful employment; Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, delivering services and advice to a variety of industries across the entire employee lifecycle; Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness; Support clients to identify future employment or training options; Perform assessments in your area of clinical expertise – including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or daily living assessments; Case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return-to-work goals; Engage with key stakeholders and develop strong relationships that drive successful partnerships

Requirements

The care and compassion you have for people; Your focus on exceptional client care; Your ability to adapt and work with a variety of clients across a range of tasks; Your capacity to work independently or as part of a team; Your enthusiasm for new opportunities and ongoing learning; Your commitment to being part of a collaborative and supportive team; Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA as an EP, ASORC or AASW; Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work; A current Working with Children Check; Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
